Pet Foodie LA

I had the best experience at Petfoodie! I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in, and the store is beautifully stocked with high-quality treats and brands I rarely find anywhere else. I brought in my small mixed-breed Maltese and honestly wasn’t very descriptive about the cut I wanted but the grooming team did an amazing job figuring out what would look best on my sweet girl.\n\nWhen I picked her up, her cut was absolutely perfect. They even gave her a cute bandana and a little bag of treats, which was such a thoughtful touch.\n\nIf you’re new to the area or just looking for a groomer or a great spot for pet food, I highly recommend Petfoodie LA. We come all the way from Silverlake because the service and care are THAT good!

I dropped in for a special diet kibble and found the staff knowledgable about pet food and safe treats. They recommended a slow transition plan and pointed out local groomers for a bath appointment. The store carries some hard-to-find specialty items, which I appreciated. Clean and well-organized, with a few toys out for dogs to sample. Great for pet owners who want better-than-big-box options.

UPDATE: I paid $85 for an ear cleaning, anal gland expression, bath, blow dry, and nail trim. I trust the store and groomer to do all the things I paid for. I shouldn't have to check my dog to make sure they've been completed. I find out at a vet appt that my dog's anal glands were full; there's no way my dog's glands fill within 2 days if they weren't even done in the first place. They gave me a refund, $15. Little did I know they also didn't clean his ears. I pay for these services because I cannot do themself. I should be able to trust what I'm paying for is going to get done. I would not recommend this business to anyone.\n\nORIGINAL: Quick and easy to book online. I was able to drop my dog off 15min before the scheduled appointment. I took about an hour-ish for a short-haired, large dog. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The woman checking me out assumed I'd be willing to pay a 25% tip on-top of the $85, considering my dog was still partially wet. The cost included: bath, nail trim, blow dry, anal glands, and ear cleaning. There were no other choices below 20%, too. To assume a new customer will pay 25% in tip is aggressive.

Love this place. Booking is quick & easy, staff is super friendly, and they have everything in-store that you could need. After shopping here for quite some time I recently took my anxious dog in for his first professional bath and it was such a positive experience!! Will be coming back for sure.

100000/10!!! They were not only amazing in the actual grooming, but wow! I can’t say enough! The customer service is incredible! They paid so much attention to detail for not only the pet but also the owner. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a family friendly groomer than you can trust with your pet!
