My Shiba Inu who loves water jumped into the pool of standing water at the old Sutro bathhouse foundation at Lands End. She was very wet and stinky and the towel I used to dry her off was black with dirt. Clearly I could not take her home in this condition. Searching nearby dog bathing businesses, I found and called The Bathing Dog and thankfully they could take her right away. I was told to come back in 2 hours but I got a call from the owner after only 1.5 hours saying she was ready. I came back to find a fluffy soft good smelling dog and my leash was cleaned as well. The owner is 79 years old(!) and very friendly especially if you can speak conversational Cantonese as I can. He is hard of hearing but it was not an issue for me. Cash only. $65 to baths and dry including ear cleaning. I tipped him $7. It was a great experience and I look forward to bringing my dog again when she needs a bath and dry. Photo is of her after her bath at home.

Wonderful! No frills place but he (the owner?) has obviously been doing nails for years. He took me on the spur of the moment and even let me drop of payment whenever I could. (Cash only) Gets it done!

Mr. Chiu did a really great job on our four and a half month old puppy’s first grooming! We did not do a full haircut, just a touchup trim around the face, sanitary area, paws, and nails with a bath, blow dry, and brush. I do recommend staying with your dog to assist for the first time. Cash only, call to book. Mr. Chiu had excellent attention to detail and our dog liked him.

I’ve been taking my dog here for the past three years. He always comes back brushed, clean, and looking so cute! The business is still active, even if the voicemail isn’t set up, but Mr. Chiu always calls me back. I appreciate the quick service and convenience.
