Dog Star Grooming

Edit: Yes, I have the correct shop. The appointment was booked through my partner and not under my name. Removed a star due to response from business.\nEdit 2: When booking the appointment, we were instructed by staff over the phone to arrive 10 minutes early to check in, as this was our dog’s first visit. We did not expect or ask to be seen early. After attempting to check in and being told that staff had not given that instruction, we waited outside until our scheduled appointment time. Arriving 10 minutes early, particularly when advised to do so, is reasonable and does not constitute insisting on unscheduled service. Removed a star due to response from business\n\nWe didn't have the best experience with Dog Star Grooming. When we showed up early for our scheduled appointment, they made it clear that they were annoyed, and they continued to act annoyed with our presence throughout the rest of our interactions. Not sure if this was an off day for them, but it did make for an uncomfortable experience for us. We don't have any complaints about how our dog was treated, however we will be seeking out different groomers in the future.

Great with anxious babies! When a community points towards a single groomer, you know you can trust them. We took our texas heeler in for a mouth cleaning, nails done, and a bath, which would have been her first bath with someone other than family. Should be noted that we have taken her here for nail clips and she gets pretty nervous about those! When my husband dropped her off for her spa day, Basil was pretty nervous and didn't want to separate from his side. So she hunkered down on the couch out front and refused to move. My husband was a little concerned but one of the women (did not catch her name), sat down with our girl and told him not to worry, she'll have her in the back in no time. With that, we both knew we left Basil with an animal lover who knows a thing or two about her clients' needs.\n\nWhen my husband went and picked her up, he didn't see any stress from her aside from her just wanting to leave (in the past at petco she jumped over their gate to get away from them). We will happily use this groomer again. Thanks so much for taking care of Basil for us!

Consistently great, and my pup is always excited to go! Never once had a bad experience, and we’ve brought our big fluffy golden here for years.
