I have had the best experience bringing my dog to Fancy Paws for the past three years. Evelyn (sorry if spelling is wrong) and the team couldn’t be kinder, and also have shown me grace if I am running late or behind schedule. Evelyn is so passionate. I have read some of the comments on here, and have literally never experienced anything negative coming here. I drive from the Northeast side of Chicago to Fancy Paws, it’s a long drive but it’s worth it. They are so kinda to my elderly dog. I recommend them to everyone.

From the first day I took my dog Cudy to Fancy Paws, I felt very confident, and the welcome and wonderful energy I received from Evelyn, her husband and all the staff was so pleasant. The price are very good, and my princess Cudy looked beautiful and smelled amazing. The place is always clean and they dedicate time to each dog with so much patience and love and there's always lots of laughter. Thank you for al your love for my princess Cudy. 100% recommended!

Only go here if you want a comfort experience for your dog. Per Evelyn’s words when you sign the disclaimer she can only do what the dog allows. It’s not about quality. It’s about comfort. If you don’t mind a homeless looking dog at the end of your appointment GO AHEAD.\n\nShe has new staff every other appointment but expects the dogs to have the same reactions as always. She had an “seasoned groomer” who was very aggressive per her words that she had to let go of who actually snipped my dogs nuts once.\n\nValle was the best groomer she had and once she left and started her own the place had been going down since.\n\nInstead of denying a service to a dog that is “aggressive” and “risks your safety” you in turn complain about everything, charge extra behavior fees, and proudly give me back my dog with half shaped face. Half done hair cut. I’m just so disgusted with the level of professionalism you’ve conducted yourself with and you should be ashamed of yourself!!!\n\nYou said you don’t prioritize quality on the recorded call but on your website literally say “ I am a professional Pet Groomer dedicated to providing quality grooms with tender care.” Which one is it Evelyn??? Do you provide quality services or not?????\n\nTo be so defensive when all of this could’ve been avoided if you just deny service is insane. You gave up on chanze without even saying it. So disappointed in someone who cares so much.\n\nYou can’t just keep giving out half ass haircuts and grooming experiences even give every excuse for why you can’t do your job.\n\nWe will continue to take him to my mom’s PREFERRED groomer because obviously when you try to support your PREFERRED groomer it’s a slap in the face and it ISNT APPRECIATED.\n\nA customer of 4 years and this is how we are treated! Shame on you.

This was my first time taking my 9 year old Poodle Mix dog, Bentley. He tends to be anxious and taking him to the groomers can sometimes be too much for him. Evelyn and her husband were great from the beginning! They were super friendly and courteous! She took her time getting to know me and my dog and explaining her services and process!\n\nThe grooming salon is an open concept so it's very nice that you are able to see her while she works her magic. Bentley went in to Fancy Paws in shambles and when I went to pick him up, he looked amazing! Evelyn did an incredible job on him and I could not asked for anything less! And let me not forget to mention her adorable dog, Snickers. He and Bentley seemed to get along very well. And her daughter, she was super friendly and engaging when I picked up my baby!\n\nIf you are looking for a very friendly, welcoming, family, and minority owned pet grooming, that will treat your dog like if they were their own and with affordable prices, then Fancy Paws Grooming Salon is the place to go!

I took my 103 lbs blue nose pit bull to Fancy Paws for grooming and they were so good to him. First of all my dog is epileptic and he full of energy. I struggle to take him anywhere because he gets very nervous about anything and anyone but they were so gentle and patient with him. Evelyn and Erik are just so awesome. You can tell they have love for the dogs. This is a place you take your pets too because they get treated like family . Their prices are great and super friendly and inviting atmosphere. I love their open concept so I can see what is happening to my fur baby. Thank you so much
