Truly the best yoga instructor. You can feel Lisa's many years of experience in every class. The practice is always fresh and engaging, with clear, thoughtful guidance that makes yoga feel safe and accessible at any level. She’s incredibly warm, kind, and so much fun to be around. Lisa's presence lifts your mood, and practicing with her makes you feel better both physically and mentally. It’s a holistic, spiritual experience in the best way. She is one of those teachers you're lucky to find. So in short: Highly recommend. Go.

This yoga space is amazing! I love the nostalgia of entering a converted school turned community center. There is always plenty of parking, plenty of hooks for your coats, free props provided, zen environment, and friendly knowledgeable teachers! From the twinkle lights; to the quotes on the whiteboards; access to bolsters, meditation cushions, blocks, straps, and of course yoga mats; you can step into this healing space at an affordable price where yoga really feels like it is for everybody!

Simply the best Yoga around. Lisa does a wonderful job of walking the line of challenging, yoga and yoga as a spiritual practice. I love all of her classes, there’s no pretension and there’s absolutely no judgment. Hundred percent would recommend.

I’ve been attending Lisa’s classes in the East Community Center since last summer - and I’ve never really had a consistent fitness habit before, so me writing this review almost a year later says something in itself about how awesome these yoga classes are. I’m hooked.\n\nLisa is a gentle and patient teacher who gives excellent cues with natural-feeling flows and sequencing. I call this “goldilocks yoga”: it’s not as fast-paced as most vinyasa classes I’ve tried, so there’s time to settle in as we move through the poses, but it is also active enough to keep you present and more than a very slow yin yoga class. It’s just right. The pearls of wisdom she oh-so-casually drops have been exactly what I needed to hear at exactly the right time - more than once.\n\nI love that the studio is part of the East Community Center, and that this is such a blossoming community hub. This is not your ultra-aesthetic yoga studio. This is an unrenovated 80s elementary school classroom - and there’s something really beautiful about the reminder that we are perpetual students, and not to take ourselves or our practice too seriously. It is a deeply accepting and non-performative space. This is a yoga practice that has prioritized being a member of the community, being accessible and contributing to the community.\n\nThe pricing is such that I can afford to have a twice-weekly yoga habit. I’ve been using the 10 classes for $100 pack and registration is seamless.\n\nThis studio has become a pillar in my life. 10 stars. I recommend it all the time to neighbors, friends, and complete strangers. I’m recommending it to you now. It’s low stakes, and life changing.
