We adopted our cat a couple of months ago. Her name was Samantha, but we renamed her Reina From the very beginning, we were so happy with our experience.\n\nThe staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and patient. They truly cared about helping us find the perfect baby for our family. They took their time with us, answered all of our questions, and even gave us helpful recommendations to make the transition easier.\n\nReina has been absolutely perfect. She completed our family, and we couldn’t be happier. She is healthy, happy, and clearly loves her new home. We are so grateful for such a wonderful adoption experience.

I have adopted one cat from here and am now on the process of looking for a second one. On both of my trips to the shelter the staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. They spent a lot of time going over the available cats in great detail to help me narrow down which I would like to meet and were very patient during my visits with the cats. Both of my visits were in weekdays so I didn’t have to wait long and was able to take my time a bit. It sounds like the weekends get pretty busy here, so if you have flexibility in your schedule, I would visit on a weekday.\nI look forward to finding my next furry baby here 🥰

Adopted my soul dog here, and I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am for this organization. The staff were kind and supportive, helping me to make the best decision I have made in my life. So thankful I walked in the shelter 3 years ago today, my dog Tenaya (lawn chair) has saved my life with endless joy. Thank you for doing what you do!

Got our new bestie from them last week. She is amazing and whoever gave her up is incredibly stupid, but I am so glad they did! The time I spent waiting for an adoption counselor was a little long but the gentleman who helped me was very nice. Pro tip: go check out the animal even if it doesn’t have a picture up 😉

Amazing staff & clean facility. I didn’t feel rushed even though I was one of the last appointments for the day. Every staff member and volunteer I interacted with was super friendly and kind. They even gave me a free cat carrier and cat tree that was donated earlier that day!\n\nI adopted Luna, an 11 year young cat that was waiting for a home for 2 months. She’s been a perfect addition to the home, super sweet, and she allowed me to clip her nails within first 48 hours. So grateful for this experience and choosing to adopt at Humane Colorado!
