I was nervous about putting Lucky in a doggy daycare, especially since we’re a military family and move around often. From the very first phone call to meeting the staff in person, everyone was so welcoming. The staff is great and truly caring. They provided updates throughout the day on their website, which gave me peace of mind. Everything is well organized, and Lucky even made some doggy best friends! I really love this place and know he’s in great hands.

We’ve been taking our puppy to Zen Doggy Den’s half-day daycare a couple days a week for a little over a month now. He was just over four months old when we started bringing him, and we love it! So does he. I really appreciate that they enforce both play and rest time, especially while he’s still a puppy and can’t regulate his own energy yet. He needs lots of stimulation, but he also needs rest, and I feel completely comfortable leaving him there knowing he’ll get a healthy balance of both. He gets so excited as we approach the door in the morning—full-body wiggles and excitement shakes—and happily says goodbye to me before running into his room. Thank you, Zen Doggy Den!

When I started searching for a daycare for my puppy, I researched over 10 places in the Denver metro area because I wanted one that truly prioritized dogs’ social and emotional well-being — not just a place for them to run around all day. I ultimately chose Zen Doggy Den, and I’m so grateful I did.\n\nWhat stood out immediately was their depth of knowledge about canine behavior. The owner is a certified dog trainer, and every staff member is personally trained. They understand play styles, body language, and the subtle cues that matter for healthy social development. Their days are thoughtfully structured, balancing multiple 20–30 minute play sessions with crate rest time, and dogs rotate in small groups (typically 6–7, up to 10 if needed). It’s intentional, well-supervised, and designed around what’s best for the dogs.\n\nWhen Rockie comes home, she’s happy, relaxed, and well-behaved — not overstimulated or completely exhausted. That alone tells me how well the day is managed. The team genuinely loves her; every drop-off and pick-up is filled with pets, kisses, and real enthusiasm. You can feel how much they care.\n\nThey also provide detailed daily updates about who she played with and how she did, which gives me so much peace of mind. On top of that, they’ve gone above and beyond to accommodate us during a last-minute situation when we had no other options.\n\nI trust them not only to watch Rockie carefully, but to thoughtfully manage the entire group dynamic. They are doing something really special, and I truly believe they’re helping my puppy grow and develop in the healthiest way possible. We’ve had nothing but a wonderful experience, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

My two older dogs, one is elderly, recently completed a stay here for five days. The facility is smaller and the dogs get individual attention and outdoor exercise. They offer a lot of services including training and bathing services during the boarding for an additional charge. I really liked that they want you to bring your dog for at least one day of doggie daycare before your first board so they can get to know your dog and their needs. I am satisfied with the services and the facility.
