American Canine Academy was and continues to be outstanding! Our “Little” Miss Juniper was getting bigger and more out of control by the day. After fooling her last trainer (and me) she graduated with honors from puppy school - but she was far from trained. We could have cried big salty tears, weeping for that well behaved lap dog that would never be…or we could take our big beautiful 9 month old rescue to the Pros. AND PROS THEY WERE! Every single staff member knew what they were doing, now Juniper knows what she’s doing, lastly; we just need to learn what WE’RE doing!\nWhich is just fine; Five Star Nicole will teach us for the rest of our lives. Nicole did wonders with our girl and she’s working some (slow but steady) miracles with the two of us softies.\nFour Week Immersion Program; FIVE BIG ASS STARS!\nShout outs to Melanie, Addy and Jayden, as well; working along side Nicole, they make up Team Amazballs (tennis balls, of course). To all of the ACA GALS - thank you loving and caring for our Juni, you’re just the best!\nThis got really long…\nTake your good bad dogs there - ACA makes them good great dogs. That could be their new slogan.

We just completed a 2 week off leash board and train for our almost 2yr old German shepherd Zuzu. She came in for some behavioral, reactivity and toddler training. She has made significant strides when ppl come over to our house and visit, she is relaxed and calm. She is very well behaved around our newborn.\n\nWe feel a lot more comfortable using our e-collar for training sessions with her and we are looking forward to scheduling some private lessons in the future and attending some group classes when we can. I really appreciated how they had multiple handlers train her throughout her stay and groomed her before she came home.\n\nWe would strongly recommend the trainers at American Canine Academy for any dog training in the future. They have a very friendly staff, very knowledgeable and accommodating to your personal needs. Melanie and Jayden were excellent in demonstrating the training tactics during our take home visit. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing y’all in the future.\n\n-Joe-

I feel so lucky that I was able to find American Canine Academy, they are the first trainers I've been to and my GSD puppy Zeus and I couldn't be more happy with them. From the beginning where I had a really long phone call that might of got someone in trouble but helped me learn about who they are and what they do, to my private lessons with my trainer Jackie which helped so much and to the group lessons with Melanie, Nicole and Jayden, everything has been expetional. Jackie knew exactly how to handle my GSD puppy and did an amazing job teaching my puppy and me. The ability to text or call ACA whenever is so helpful and comforting, whenever I had any question, big or small, I could text them and they would give me amazing advice in a really timely manner. The group classes have also been extremely helpful, they are included when you do any of the training programs so I can always bring my dog to do some training on the weekends and I don't feel pressured to go if I don't need to. All of the trainers in the group training classes are amazing, they do a great job leading the whole group but won't hesitate to help you if you need individual assistance. They also have the best quality products to sell that you would want for your dog and even give great advice for other products that they don't stock (such as a buckle for prong collars). If you are looking for a trainer that will actually hold your dog and you accountable then this is the best place you could look for!

I enrolled my dog, Moose, in the American Canine Academy about a year ago in their off-leash program, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Moose has learned to sit, stay, heel, and respond reliably off leash. He’s much calmer now and understands all my commands — even when we travel out of state.\n\nOne of the things I appreciate most is their lifetime training services. I’ve used this option twice, and it’s been incredibly helpful — Moose received additional training each time at no extra cost. They also offer a group class every Saturday at 10 AM, which is fun, free, and a great way for Moose to socialize while reinforcing his training.\n\nThe staff at American Canine Academy are friendly, respectful, and always welcoming — they greet you with smiles and make both you and your dog feel at home. Whenever anything comes up with Moose, whether by text or phone call, they respond quickly and provide helpful guidance. Their daycare services are excellent as well; I left Moose for three days and had complete peace of mind knowing he was well cared for. I also take advantage of their grooming and nail trimming services once a month, which Moose enjoys.\n\nOverall, I highly recommend American Canine Academy. Their comprehensive training programs, lifetime support, group classes, grooming, daycare, outstanding responsiveness, and exceptional hospitality make it an outstanding place for any dog owner.

There is something magical happening inside the fences at American Canine Academy.\n\nI brought my dog, Chief, in for some further obedience training after adopting him and working on behavioral issues myself and the trainers here were able to get him to that next level of obedience.\n\nHe was booked into a 2 week board and train where I regularly received update videos and reports about his progress, what has been worked on since the last update and what is going to be worked on moving forward. Leaving my dog for 2 weeks was not easy but every update I received brought with it comfort in knowing he was happy, safe, and taken care of.\n\nI travel around 20 days out of the month for work so my dog is also boarded here when I don't have family or friends that can watch him. Every time I bring my dog here, he knows what is about to happen and you can tell he really does enjoy spending time here. He gets incredibly excited during the drive and when we arrive, and I attribute that to the amount of attention and love that he receives while he is staying here. My schedule is pretty chaotic so there are constant changes to my dogs boarding including early pick ups, cancellations, extensions, changing of pick up times and the crew here has been so understanding, helpful, reassuring and flexible with my schedule and I am eternally grateful!\n\nOn top of all of that, they also offer group classes on Saturdays and Sundays (Sundays just started which is very welcomed) so you can further your dogs obedience training and the trainers can watch you with your dog and correct your human behaviors as well as the dog behaviors.\n\nWith all that being said, a massive thank you and shout out to Melanie, Jayden, Jackie, Nicole, and everyone else who I am blanking on or haven't met yet who has had a hand in working with Chief and working with me!
