I have taken my dog, Archie, here for years for daycare and boarding and have always had an amazing experience. Archie ALWAYS arrives excited and it’s reassuring to see the staff care for him as much as I do. THANK YOU to everyone and the owner for giving him a great experience all these years and for the years to come!

Updated Review:\n\nI want to start by saying that Wagon Tails Dog Resort is clearly a well-loved and highly rated facility, which is why I felt comfortable bringing my dog there in the first place. During her first few visits, she appeared to enjoy herself, and I genuinely hoped this would be a long-term solution for her socialization and care.\n\nHowever, as time went on, I began to notice that she seemed increasingly overwhelmed by the crowded small area. From what I personally observed, other dogs were frequently crowding or targeting her, and she appeared uncomfortable rather than engaged. Because of the facility’s strong reputation, I TRUSTED that staff would step in if a dog was becoming overstimulated or singled out.\n\nOut of concern, I called several times to check on her and was reassured each time that everything was fine. Unfortunately, when I arrived to pick her up, I was told to wait while someone came to speak with me. The conversation that followed was unexpected and upsetting… I was told my dog had an “attitude problem,” and the interaction felt abrupt and dismissive rather than informative.\n\nI fully understand that daycare environments are busy and that staff must manage many dogs at once. I also understand that dogs can react defensively if they feel stressed or overwhelmed. My concern is simply that prolonged pressure from other dogs may not have been adequately addressed, and that her eventual reaction was treated as the sole issue rather than part of a broader issue.\n\nWhat makes this especially difficult to share is that I am genuinely nervous to leave this review. I have seen other people describe similar experiences and mention being threatened with legal action for posting negative feedback. That fear alone has delayed me from writing this. I have since spoken with legal counsel and understand that sharing a factual, honest personal experience is within my rights, especially when the intent is to help other pet parents make informed decisions.\n\nMy goal is not to attack or disparage Wagon Tails Dog Resort. I believe most people working there care deeply about animals. I simply hope that greater attention can be paid to dogs who are quieter and more submissive, so situations like this can be prevented in the future.\n\nEvery dog deserves to feel safe, not singled out and every owner deserves to feel heard and respected when they raise concerns.

We are so happy we found this place. Our Standard Poodle, Hazel, LOVES going here for daycare. She will be boarded soon and I'm sure she will have a great time. Everyone is so nice. Our first visit was to see how she would do with other dogs and then she stayed the day and had a blast. When I picked her up, I got a tour of the place so I could see what the kennels look like. They are very spacious and clean. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our fur baby and making us feel comfortable that she has such a safe place to go.

We’ve been taking our dogs to Waggin Tails regularly for daycare and boarding the last three years, and I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. The staff are all so incredibly kind, and treat both of our dogs with such great care. Our big guy pouts until we take him to daycare, and doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day. 🥹🩵

I will always love the staff at Waggin Tails for taking the best care of my pups. Peace of mind is important to me, and I am thankful to have had that for 6+ years for my wacky furry kids.
