Petco

I have taken my pup here about 4 times now and in the past, I have really loved the services however this time I was not happy and I am still not happy with how my dog was groomed. I tried to stick with one groomer so that my pup is comfortable that being said I have been using Virginia since I adopted him in July. I left specific instructions for her to leave him "fluffy" but instead I pick him up and all of his hair is chopped off. That's NOT what I asked her to do. In response she tells me that he had some matted hair in some areas on his body and she couldn't cut those areas so she decided to shave him. The proper way would've been to call me and tell me that not have me show up to pick him up with no hair whatsoever. I am beyond disappointed in my services provided and I was still charged over $100 for the hair cut. I will be taking my pup elsewhere to get a haircut and won't be wasting my time, money, and gas to bring him to this location. Attached is a before and after picture. My dog doesn't even look happy.

Very kind, gentle and professional groomers. From booking to communicating, they do a great job! Shea and Shannon did exactly what I asked for his summer cut! And to top it off, very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

I drive 23 miles one way because Brandon & Dr. Pugh are worth it for my anxiety ridden, reactive fur baby. I cannot recommend this place and this staff more.

I’ve taken my dog to other Petco’s before with no issues ever. After our FIRST visit at this location we were told to find another grooming place for our dog because he is “kind of hyper” (he’s not even 1 year old). This was extremely disappointing as we just moved and this is the closest location. We have never received this feedback before and were very caught off guard. Do not take your dog here if they have any extra energy, they’ll tell you to go somewhere else:

I needed vaccinations and I would do just the discounted vaccinations maybe again. However, the vet checks at the Vetco was a weird experience. Never have I had my dogs appt not done in front of me.\nThe Vet took my well behaved dogs in the back.\nI have a 13yr old senior and anything I brought up I was reminded that it would be a different charge for each additional thing bedsides the standard price. When it comes to senior health I don't care about pricing until I got the price and I legit gagged.\nI will now always make the effort to book at a small vet and not book a place that has rotating vets. The vet had no ideal what was offered or not offered...prescribes pills that would actually make my dog more sick.\nI walked out simply confused.
