There is a darn good reason Green Mountain Animal Hospital has a 4.9 google rating, but I can't begin to understand why it's not a 5. The ENTIRE staff is absolutely top notch, but I'll reserve my highest praise for Dr Garms. She is the most dedicated, empathetic, honest and forthright vet we have ever dealt with, and after 50 years of pet parenthood, I hope that's saying something.\nDespite a tragic end to our dear Stella's life, the dedication of this entire staff, but especially Dr Garms, is second to none. If you find vets and clinics that are this dedicated you should consider yourself extremely lucky. If I could, I'd give you all stars to boost you to a 5. You're simply the best.\nThank you from the deepest part of our hearts.

As a dog trainer and foster, I don’t always have the easiest dogs to bring to necessary vet appointments but Dr Cody and team have always treated our foster dogs with patience and compassion. Not every vet will work with rescue organizations so I give major kudos to this team here for going above and beyond for the sake of dogs! We’ve also brought our personal dogs here and have received amazing service and care.

Today I took my 10 year old dog who has a heart murmur for a new patient appointment with Dr. Williams. I was impressed right away by the friendly staff and how clean the clinic was. Then I spent a long time talking to Dr. Williams, and she was so kind and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions until I truly understood what a murmur is and the best path forward for our dog. We recently moved to Golden from Texas. We’ve lived in four different states and have seen many different veterinarians. This clinic and Dr. Williams were by far the best ever. I highly recommend them.

These people are good people. The care about your animals and about you and you never feel like "just another appointment'. They treat you and your animals with respect, dignity and kindness every time you walk through their doors. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that has a animal member of their family. They will be well cared for.

I’ve been to Green Mountain 3 times now for 2 of my 3 dogs and I am thrilled with Dr. Cody and the other staff I’ve encountered. Everyone is so friendly and caring. Dr. Cody really listens and has such a helpful, optimistic, and collaborative approach which made me feel so hopeful after the first appointment. One of my dogs can be difficult with strangers but she took to him right away. Another one of my dogs has a neurological issue and was dismissed at another vet for her age, but Dr. Cody offered some great treatment options to get her feeling better. She seems to be responding well and I couldn’t be happier and more thankful.
