I'm incredibly disappointed by the service I received when I tried to book an appointment with Dog Savvy. I've taken my dog to get groomed here on numerous occasions but something seemingly changed recently. Her favorite groomer no longer works there, and the service has taken a nose dive.\n\nLast week, I booked an appointment for tomorrow and they made no mention that we needed to provide updated vaccine records for the dog until the day before the appointment. I provided updated vaccine records as instructed but they said that wasn't good enough. I cancelled my appointment and will be going elsewhere, which is saddening to me because the dog enjoyed the place.\n\nRobb, thank you for your response. It would've been nice to be informed of these "new regulations and requirements" at any point during the time of the booking or the week that followed. Your manager decided it was a good idea to wait until the last possible moment to inform me that the vaccination records were not "up to standard". I found that to be incredibly disrespectful of my time because you didn't provide me adequate time to find the serial number of the vaccines on a Sunday afternoon. It's also rather convenient that none of the other dog grooming services I've gone to have required serial numbers of the vaccines except for your business. Your old groomer provided tremendous customer service and care to my dog and I hope to find a groomer as skilled as her in the future. Unfortunately, it does not appear as though our business relationship will be continuing. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

On a business trip to Denver, I went to buy a raincoat and a chew toy for my cavapoo dog.\nThe 2 ladies (I guess 1 is the owner) were very helpful and helped me choose the items I needed.\n\nVery pleased with my purchases. My dog especially love the chew toy.\n\nThanks a lot.

dog savvy has been my salvation since I moved to denver nine years ago. i’d never get my dogs groomed anywhere else! when my former dog passed, I could not have asked for more sincere or compassionate condolences from the owner, rob, and even my groomer came out to cry and hug me. every time I need to change or modify an appointment, they couldn’t be more helpful. I brought my next dog there (an anxious rescue dog) and he could not be more relaxed or handsome when I get him back! they also have collars and fun stuff you cannot find anywhere else… truly a unique store that cares about its customers! just got a new puppy and can’t wait to introduce him when he needs a cut! the owner rob even recommended a great vet to me when I first moved to town!

Stopped in for an airline pet carrier. The owner is incredibly friendly & helpful - he even took time to talk with each customer (rare these days). Shop carries many healthy, natural treats & food. Great staff, great store!

We were initially frustrated with our experience as we had a short layover in Denver and needed to quickly purchase a leash to replace the one we lost. Unfortunately, the new leash was quite expensive and broke within just a few days after we left the city.\n\nHowever, Rob, the owner (I suppose), responded to our complaint with professionalism and care. While the leash is still broken, we truly appreciate the respectful and attentive customer service, hence the revised review.
